HAPPY INDEPENDENCE

Nigerians celebrated independence all across the country in peace, particularly the city of Ibadan in Oyo state.
Where I attended to celebrate the great country which was Lekan Salami stadium, most of the schools in Ibadan attended, and the Governor was represented by his special adviser, the security officer was in good order to keep peace all at hand.
The day started with an honorary match between Queen’s school Apata and UMC {United Missionary Comprehensive School} Molete  which each half lasted for 30min. it was so surprising how the UMC girls played so well, at the end of the match UMC won with two goals to non, after which their was a march past by each school. Primary, secondary, government organization and even religious organization were present at the independence march.
The negative part of the event was that the children were not given too much preference, these children and their teachers took too much time to prepare for such a great a day but the governor representative and the commentator said the children should not display anything but to just march along, so pathetic.

Watch the video to see part of the event in Ibadan.
